Then we want to hear from you!\n\nDue to continued growth and expansion, Horizon Care and Education have an exciting opportunity for a peripatetic teacher to join our fantastic Alternative Learning Pathway team based in and around the Gloucester and Gloucestershire area.\n\nHorizon Alternative Learning Pathway (HALP) aims to support and engage young people for whom learning in a school environment is not appropriate. We deliver short to medium term, personalised learning programmes nationally - a combination of direct home tutoring, mentoring and online learning for pupils from ages 8-25.\n\nYou will be based in the Gloucester and Gloucestershire area and will form part of the team at this school. As a peripatetic teacher you will visit children to deliver the 1-1 education in the community. You will be expected to attend meetings and training at the school and at times may be asked to cover lessons/support in school if needed.\n\nYou will be working in a variety of non-school settings where you will be building and maintaining excellent educational relationships with the students. Your focus will be the individual learning needs of the student who has struggled in a school environment.
