Northwich £38,000-£44,000 + Benefits + Overtime Monday-Friday (37.5 Hour working week) Electrical Fitter / Electrical Engineer I am currently recruiting for an experienced engineer to support a well established business in Northwich. The Role Reporting into the Production Manager and working within a mixed engineering team, the purpose of the role is to provide electrical skills including fault identification and analysis to facilitate repairs, improvements, inspections, adjustments, to agreed standards, on time and within budget. This role will be varied as each project is bespoke so although it will be Electrically biased, there will still be some Mechanical elements to get involved in. The company are looking for someone with an Electrical bias who wants to develop their career forwards and will provide training to facilitate this. Electrical Engineer/ Electrical Fitter Daily responsibilities Installation of various cable management systems including but not limited to, Basket Tray, G alvanised Steel Trunking, Steel Cable Tray, Steel Cable Ladder Rack Ability to read and follow Electrical Schematics, Cable Schedules, and Layout Drawings Testing of electrical systems including, Earth Bonding Testing, Insulation Resistance Testing, Voltage Tests and Continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using calibrated test devices to ensure, integrity, compatibility, and safety of system. Powering up of machines following Build and/or installation including I/O Checks and Motor checks ready to handover to the Software and Commissioning teams Working with and supporting the Software and Commissioning teams during the test phase assisting where necessary correcting any issues that may arise. Working with, installing, and maintaining safety critical control systems and associated interlocks, e-stop circuits, pull wire systems, etc. Electrical Engineer/ Industrial Electrician Requirements Electrical apprenticeship (NVQ level 3) as a minimum - you must be Electrically qualified from a base line skills perspective Could be straight out of an Apprenticeship or have years' experience in industry Flexibility in general as some travelling may be required to global customer sites with this role (few trips per year) Must have an excellent attitude and willingness to learn What you will get in return For a 37.5 working week, you will receive a generous entry level base salary of £38,000 to £44,000, dependant on experience, alongside 25 days holidays plus bank holidays, pension contribution scheme, overtime and expenses, sick pay scheme, 3 x life assurance plus other benefits.
