The Role As Hotel & Restaurant Manager , you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the entire site, overseeing both the hotel and restaurant operations. You'll lead from the front, ensuring the highest standards of service are maintained across every department while driving the business forward. From welcoming overnight guests and ensuring smooth hotel operations to overseeing breakfast service, lunch, dinner and special events, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional hospitality and maintaining the outstanding reputation of this beautiful venue. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operation of the hotel and restaurant. Lead and inspire the front-of-house and hotel teams to deliver exceptional customer service. Ensure the seamless running of breakfast, lunch and evening restaurant services. Oversee all hotel operations, including guest arrivals, departures, reservations and housekeeping standards. Recruit, train, coach and develop a high-performing team. Manage staffing levels, rotas and labour costs. Monitor financial performance, budgets and departmental targets. Ensure excellent guest satisfaction and respond professionally to customer feedback. Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and health & safety throughout the property. Work closely with the kitchen team to deliver an exceptional food and beverage offering. Drive sales, maximise revenue opportunities and continually look for ways to improve the business. About You We're looking for someone who has: Previous experience as a Hotel Manager , Restaurant Manager , General Manager or Operations Manager within hospitality. A strong background managing both food & beverage and hotel operations. Outstanding leadership and people management skills. A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. Excellent organisational and financial management abilities. The confidence to take ownership of the business and lead from the front. A hands-on management style with the ability to motivate and develop a successful team. Excellent communication skills and a proactive, positive attitude. A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport, as the hotel is located in a rural area with limited public transport links.
