Reed Sales & Marketing are incredibly excited to be working exclusively with a West Yorkshire based client in their search for an experienced Sales Director to drive new revenue generation and develop the internal sales and estimating teams. Benefits: • High Basic Wage (£80,000 to £87,500), • Uncapped Commission (£25,000 to £35,000 OTE), • Company Car (Up to a value £80,000), • Company Pension, • Develop and execute the national sales strategy, ensuring alignment with company growth targets and industry regulations., • Lead, mentor, and expand the sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement., • Identify and secure new business opportunities across sectors such as commercial, industrial, residential, education, and public sector., • Strengthen relationships with key clients, consultants, contractors, and fire safety partners., • Oversee bid management and tender submissions, ensuring competitive, compliant, and commercially sound proposals., • Collaborate with technical, operations, and compliance teams to ensure solutions meet BS, UK Fire Safety Order, and industry standards., • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes, translating insights into actionable sales initiatives., • Manage sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting, providing accurate performance insights to the executive team., • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role within the fire safety, fire protection, life safety, or related compliance industries., • Strong understanding of fire safety products and services (e.g., fire alarms, extinguishers, passive fire protection, emergency lighting, suppression systems)., • Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing sales teams., • Excellent commercial acumen with a track record of delivering revenue growth., • Strong knowledge of UK fire safety regulations and compliance frameworks., • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills., • Ability to work strategically while remaining hands-on when needed.
