AGR are working closely with our Aberdeen-based client to recruit an Offshore EPRD HSE Representative to join its team on a temporary basis for an expected duration of 3-6 months. About the role: The role requires HSE Representatives (HSER) to support the 2026 offshore Engineering Preparation Removal and Disposal (EPRD) campaign schedule, which comprises three major decommissioning activities from CSVs (Construction Support Vessels) across three disembarked assets. Activity levels increase significantly from March through late autumn, with varying durations and Personnel on Board (POB) levels driving the need for robust leadership. This role requires candidates who can provide strong, safety‑focused oversight across these complex work scopes. Roles will operate on an equal‑time rota, with flexibility required to respond to operational needs. Some onshore working will also be expected during the onboarding phase to ensure alignment with project specific systems, processes, and campaign schedule. Key duties and responsibilities: The EPRD Health, Environment and Safety Representative will form part of the EPRD vessel team, responsible for oversight and auditing of platform preparation activities by the removal contractor from their construction support vessel. They will promote and ensure safe and environmentally responsible working practices in compliance with Project standards and procedures, relevant regulatory requirements and bridging documentation. They will be responsible for environmental and site safety performance monitoring and reporting, incident reporting, and interfacing with the onshore HSE team. They will work alongside the removal contractors Safety Officer and report directly to the EPRD OIM. They will also participate in any investigations relating to incidents that occur on the assets or vessels working within 500m zones. This role may be required to work nightshift to ensure a correct balance of supervision on site during the campaign. The role includes the following key responsibilities – • Application of the operational and emergency response bridging document requirements., • Site visits and auditing., • Adopting and delivering the removal contractor safety culture, working closely with their onboard Safety Officer, • Monitoring and reporting on safety and environmental performance., • Reporting of incidents and events through the relevant portals (Maximo, Comet)., • Analysing and reporting of safety cards., • Interfacing with the onshore HSE team., • Work closely with the onshore and offshore teams and removal contractor teams to plan, develop and execute the offshore works, ensuring all activities are undertaken in a safe and environmentally acceptable manner and in compliance with Project standards and procedures and relevant regulatory requirements., • Support the EPRD OIM and deputy OIM., • Review of activities that require environmental permits to validate compliance with permit conditions, controls, and reporting., • Participating or leading in incident investigations. Completion of vessel preparation Safety Case related performance standard checks as required., • Delivery of relevant HSE plan for the EPRD campaign, • Completion/Oversight of SECE assurance inspection and testing routines and register, • Planning and facilitation of Offshore HSE Inspection if required Work Experience: Essential • Detailed knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements for work on offshore installations, • Experience supervising offshore work in a team lead or HSEA capacity,, • Highly effective relationship builder at all levels, internally and externally, • Excellent communication skills (verbal, interpersonal, written and presentation), • Strong initiative and orientation towards focused delivery, • Experience of risk and change management processes, • Experience in an Operations, Safety and/or Environmental role Preferred • Experience in safety reporting tools (Maximo and Comet), • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for safety and environmental reportable events. Technical skills/Qualifications: Essential • Current Offshore Medical and Survival Certificate, • MIST, • NEBOSH or equivalent certification Preferred • Comet Investigation system, • Maximo Incident module, • OPEP Level 1 including ability to submit PON1s via UK Integrated Reporting System (IRS), • Environmental Permit non-compliance submission ability via IRS, • COSHH assessor, • Radiation Protection Supervisor, • Waste and Materials Management, • Manual handling assessor At AGR we are committed to finding the best fit for our team, building a unique and exciting environment.
