From helping acquire essential data to planning long-term well development, you’ll organize, run, and report operations in the field environment and assist specialists and other Engineers with key decisions. Your training will be hands-on as you learn about the energy industry and become an expert in the various tools and services in your business line. You’ll be asked to learn a lot quickly, and you’ll be given responsibility and support to make your impact and start becoming a leader in our business. Essential Responsibilities And Duties • Perform operations, operate equipment, and be accountable for team wellsite performance, by the end of your training., • Manage field operations, including engineering design, maintenance, job planning, and operational reporting., • Learn the well construction process and understand the role of different service companies., • Support engineers and specialists on-site and help with essential duties, such as risk analysis., • Effectively manage a crew and/or processes., • Help prepare wellsite reports and post-job debriefings., • Actively contribute to continuous improvement culture—across the business. Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering., • Good verbal and written communication skills., • Quick learner able to use logic to solve problems., • Be personally committed to continuous improvement., • Evidence of leadership and teamwork skills., • The desire to work in at a wellsite environment and in a fast-paced, dynamic business on high-value, technically complex products/projects., • The right to work in the UK. Project Engineer (Controls) With a production and manufacturing facility in Bromborough, Wirral, an engineering office based in Knaphill, Surrey, and a facility in Aberdeen, Deepsea Technologies UK provides both diver-less and diver assisted engineered solutions for the energy sector. The company has over 30 years of experience in the design and delivery of subsea production equipment, with a well proven record of delivering production and controls packages. This includes well established products such and Taper-LokTM flanges, RetlockTM Diverless connection systems, MQC stab-plates, Bend Stiffener Connectors, ROV tooling and much more. The Project Engineer will support subsea controls and umbilical projects from bid stage through delivery - providing technical authority across hydraulic and electrical controls, project planning, documentation, client liaison, and onsite execution. An ideal candidate will have 5 - 10 years of experience and will have an in-depth knowledge of subsea production and controls distribution equipment. This role will be based in Aberdeen however depending on project requirements, travel around the UK and globally will be required. Key Responsibilities • Reporting to the Field Services Manager supporting the delivery of subsea controls systems (new-build, modifications, and refurbishments) and subsea umbilical scopes from bid stage to delivery. Based in the DTUK Aberdeen Facility., • Plan projects, provide & contribute to supporting related documents such as risk assessments, HIRA’s, procedures, etc., • Liaise with client contacts for project kick offs as and when required;, • Support the projects through the site execution phase., • Support the Aberdeen Facility supervisor planning the connected scopes and resources,, • Support sales team with enquiries & proposals through to PO., • Provide engineering & project support with experience in a controls background., • A hands-on multi-tasking role providing technical authority on Hydraulic & electrical controls related ops,, • Specifying build standards, planning the assembly and testing of umbilical bundle assemblies & testing, writing building & testing procedures and specifications, supporting operations through to the site as PE,, • Travel to and from sites in support of projects including all company locations as required, • Tracking project P&L Skills and Experience The successful candidate should be degree qualified in an engineering related field with at least 10 years systems engineering experience and extensive knowledge of specifications and the delivery of subsea production systems and controls distribution equipment. An understanding of offshore oil and gas contracting, subsea infrastructure and assembly and testing processes will be essential.
