The role includes appeals, pre-action protocol (PAP) correspondence and administrative reviews. The successful candidate will prepare and progress work under the principal solicitor’s supervision; they will not provide independent legal advice or make final legal decisions. Responsibilities 1. Assist with the day-to-day progression of immigration, asylum, human rights and appeal files under the principal solicitor’s supervision., 2. Take client instructions, prepare accurate attendance notes and maintain organised electronic case files., 3. Review decisions and evidence, identifying missing documents and legal, procedural or evidential issues for the solicitor’s attention., 4. Research the Immigration Rules, legislation, case law, Home Office guidance and relevant country evidence as directed., 5. Prepare first drafts of applications, witness statements, representations, appeal grounds and correspondence for solicitor review., 6. Assist with PAP correspondence and administrative reviews, including gathering evidence and preparing draft submissions for the solicitor’s review and approval., 7.
