As a massage therapist, your primary role is to provide therapeutic massage treatments to clients, alleviating stress, tension, and muscular discomfort. Key duties include assessing clients' needs, tailoring treatments to their individual conditions, and maintaining detailed client records. You will use various techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage to enhance physical wellbeing. Ensuring a clean, hygienic workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations, and maintaining professional standards at all times are crucial. Strong communication skills are essential for understanding client concerns and providing advice on post-treatment care and lifestyle adjustments to support overall health.

To provide advice, assistance and support to young people. To attend to their practical, physical and emotional needs. To act as an appropriate role model and to work closely with them to enable them to address their difficulties and achieve their optimum potential. Key Responsibilities 1. To work in a small team to support and implement the development of the childrenās home., 2. To enhance and effect change to the good of all children with whom they work by acquiring the necessary skills through their own training and development., 4. To ensure that the young peopleās needs are recognised and met. This includes ensuring that they are free from discrimination with the home and to challenge discrimination from outside the home., 5. To protect the young people from harm in and outside the home, 6. To assist the management in the home in compliance with Ofsted, legislation and the ethos and policies of the company., 7. To exercise responsible control over the children to ensure their safety and wellbeing and assist them in developing acceptable standards of personal hygiene and behaviour. This also applies to encouraging children to abide by house rules and principles., 8. To participate in the development implementation and monitoring of the individual young peopleās care plans., 9. In accordance with plans for the day, to organise and supervise recreational and leisure activities both in and out of the home to provide the children with an interesting and stimulating life. This includes being prepared to spend time away from the home, on holiday and at camps etc., 10. To ensure positive participation in the companyās internal training scheme., 11. To be familiar with and follow the Local Authority Child Protection Procedures and Bull Care Services teamās Safer Caring and Child Protection Proceduresā. All Information coming to the knowledge of staff must in the first instance be reported immediately to the Registered Manager, Deputy Manager or Senior Residential Worker., 12. To develop and maintain good working relationships with parents, social workers, schools and other professionals concerned with the welfare of the young people., 13. To use the home as a model to support and develop the social skills of the young people being looked after., 14. To ensure that the home meets the needs of the individual young people and the needs of the group., 15. To maintain a good understanding of child protection and safeguarding procedures, 16. To care for children when they are ill and, where necessary, administer medicines, drugs and treatment under the guidance of the childās medical practitioner., 17. To perform household duties as required. This includes cooking and general cleaning, sorting laundry, checking childrenās bedrooms and encouraging them to keep their rooms tidy. Conduct thorough assessments of clientsā physical conditions and discuss their concerns to create personalised treatment plans. Maintain a clean and organised treatment area, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitised and stored. Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress, adhering to confidentiality protocols. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy practices. Provide clients with aftercare advice and recommendations for ongoing wellness. Requirements Valid certification in massage therapy from an accredited institution. Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential; new graduates are welcome to apply.
