About Vallorii Vallorii is a UK-based, purpose-driven startup transforming how billions of pounds are invested in sustainable infrastructure. You will join a growing team that embraces flexible, collaborative ways of working, and work day-to-day with Vallorii’s founders Anita Bharucha and Jorge Cardenas. The Role - Why it matters Smart infrastructure funding shapes communities, environmental outcomes and long-term prosperity. As our Valuation Expert you will work with experts in product development and economics to co-develop user-ready prototypes, apply them to live transactions, and test features directly with customers from asset management, investment banking, and government. You bring deal expertise to inform product priorities, accelerate development cycles and scale up the Vallorii team. Key Responsibilities 1. Leadership & Collaboration • Lead by example: own deliverables end-to-end and model inclusive, transparent teamwork., • Mentor analysts and embed knowledge-sharing habits that scale with the company., • Collaborate with a diverse team of economists, sustainability experts, and product developers to share insights and expertise 2. Excel Modelling & Rapid Prototyping • Build and document robust LBO & DCF models for infrastructure deals., • Scale up Vallorii product development by creating clean, auditable Excel prototypes, including new features, user testing, and engineering hand-off. 3. Deal Screening & Analysis Delivery • Independently evaluate transactions in infrastructure, stress-test scenarios and defend conclusions to investors, lenders and regulators., • Turn insights into concise decks, dashboards and verbal briefings that drive investment, policy and regulatory decisions. 4. Customer Discovery & Product Thinking • Run structured interviews with target users; capture pain points and iterate prototypes quickly., • Spot workflow steps that can be automated and define minimum-viable features for the product backlog. 5. Automation & Continuous Improvement • Experiment with Python, APIs and LLM chat interfaces to streamline data gathering, model population, and scenario generation., • Test our latest product advancements and bridge the gap between product and users. Essential: • Background in private equity, investment banking or similar, with 2+ years building transaction models (ideally infrastructure-focused but not essential)., • Proven ability to take analysis from first principles to board-ready output., • Comfortable owning client relationships and end-to-end delivery., • Advanced Excel; motivated to learn Python and modern data tools., • Curious about economics, product development, and rapid iteration with senior stakeholders in a start-up setting.
