Job description: Job Summary We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Estate & Business Development Manager to oversee the daily operations, new customer bookings, site viewings and maintenance of a prestigious estate. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all estate activities, managing staff, and maintaining the property's standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to the upkeep and enhancement of a distinguished estate, ensuring it remains a welcoming and well-maintained environment. This role also focuses on supporting enquiries and generating business from a range of Private Hire & Events including Weddings, Private Events and Corporate Days which are held at the Estate and our catering arm. Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day management of the estate, including grounds, facilities, and staff Coordinate maintenance and repair works, liaising with contractors and service providers Manage estate staff, including recruitment, scheduling, and performance oversight Develop and implement operational procedures to optimise efficiency and safety Budget management and procurement of supplies and services Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all estate activities Proactively source and convert new leads through outreach, networking and targeted sales campaigns Develop tailored proposals that showcase our venues and meet client needs Achieve and exceed revenue targets through structured pipeline management Organise events or functions held on the estate as required Maintain detailed records of maintenance schedules, staff rotas, and operational reports Build long-lasting relationships with corporate clients, event planners and agencies as well as private hosts. Conduct discovery calls, lead venue tours and manage client communication through to contract stage. Provide exceptional customer care to drive repeat business and referrals Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts and reporting Act as the primary point of contact for residents or visitors, providing excellent customer service Qualifications Proven experience in estate or property management, ideally within a luxury or high-profile setting Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively Excellent communication and leadership abilities Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., MS Office) is desirableThis position offers an engaging environment where professionalism, organisational skills, and attention to detail are highly valued. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the estates reputation for excellence. Essential Proven sales experience within events, hospitality, corporate hire or B2B services Confident in outbound sales activity, proactive prospecting, and building a pipeline from scratch. Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills. Highly self-motivated, organised and commercially minded. Ability to do client check in's and check outs occasionally on weekends- which allows flexible hours and days in the week to compensate Salary: £35,000.00-£48,000.00 per annum Basic (dependant on experience) with competitive performance-based commission structure in addition OTE £65,000.
