Duties: Supervise daily operations and manage team performance to ensure efficiency and productivity. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise. Train new staff on operational procedures, safety protocols, and equipment handling. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Giving quotes and timescales for jobs. Organising bookings and shift patterns. Checking the work done by staff is of a high quality. Discussing work with customers and giving advice. Managing budgets. Checking stock and ordering parts and equipment. Recruiting and training new staff and apprentices. Skills: Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Handle trade and retail enquiries, resolve complaints. Monitor stock levels, oversee deliveries and return, ensure accurate recording, and support timely stock replenishment. Liaise with the warehouse team for stock coordination. Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations, shop security procedures, and company operational policies Manage the opening and closing of the premises. Monitor and evaluate shop performance and suggest improvements in layout, product range, and customer experience. Provide daily/weekly updates to management regarding sales, staffing, stock levels, and operational challenges.
