We're looking for an enthusiastic Communications & Fundraising Worker to join our small, friendly team at Bardsley Youth Project, helping us raise awareness, inspire supporters and make a real difference to young people experiencing homelessness in Coventry. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who loves communications, enjoys getting stuck into creative projects and wants to develop their skills while working for a cause they genuinely care about. What will you be doing? No two days will look quite the same! You'll work closely with our Communications & Fundraising Co-ordinator on everything from creating engaging social media content and designing campaigns to writing newsletters, updating our website, telling powerful stories and building relationships with our wonderful community of supporters. You'll have opportunities to get involved in digital marketing, community fundraising, content creation and developing the way we communicate our impact. Who are we looking for? We'd love someone who's excited to develop that knowledge and put it into practice! You don't need years of professional experience or to have mastered every platform. Relevant experience from employment, education, volunteering, freelance work or personal projects is welcome. What matters is that you can demonstrate your skills, enthusiasm, willingness to learn and commitment to our work. What we're offering • £8,945.04 per year, • 12 hours per week, with flexible working hours and some scheduled meetings, • A permanent position based at Bardsley House, Coventry, • Opportunities to develop your communications, fundraising and digital skills, • The chance to see firsthand how your work helps young people experiencing homelessness Most importantly, you'll be joining a small charity where your ideas, creativity and contributions can make a genuine difference. Closing date: Tuesday 3 November 2026 at 6pm. We may close the vacancy early if we receive sufficient interest, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
