This will help to contribute to the continuous improvement of risk management tools and training materials.\n\nYou will achieve this through collaborating with both Sector & Group stakeholders to share best practice and lessons learnt. Through doing so, you will deliver training and provide ongoing support to Supply Chain teams on the effective use of approved risk tools and processes\n\nCore duties:\n\nYou will support the coordination of responses to risk indicators or intelligence, ensuring actions and owners are clearly captured\n\nYou will maintain and manage the Maritime and Land Defence Solutions Risk Register\n\nYou will prepare and present on key risk topics such as Single and Sole Source\n\nYou will ensure consistency, accuracy, and governance of risk data across systems and reporting outputs\n\nYou will support alignment between Project, Functional and Business Risk\n\nEssential Skills:\n\nYou will have a Supply Chain background and either hold or be willing to work towards CIPS Level 4\n\nYou will bring an understanding of the Supply Chain End to End process, including key areas such as supplier management, procurement delivery, supplier development & risk management, to this role\n\nYou will be able to identify root causes and inform robust business decisions\n\nYou will be able to demonstrate your ability in Supply Chain and or / Projects environments, by being able to build, grow and influence networks, outside of own team, to support collaboratively working\n\nThe Functional Excellence team:\n\nThe Functional Excellence team enables the Maritime and Land Defence Solutions supply chain 300+ employees to do their jobs. Encompassing Governance, Compliance, Risk Management, People Capability, Tools/IT & Sustainability. Having an overarching perspective across the business and representing the business unit in sector and group environments to encourage sharing best practise and continuous improvement.\n\nThis role covers the Maritime and Land Defence Solutions sites and suppliers across the UK, and benefits from exposure across our large enterprise.
