About the Role The Sales Account Manager role sits within the Sales team and reports directly to the Head of Sales. This is a blended role combining responsibility for winning new business with managing and growing a portfolio of existing customers. You will represent a portfolio of assigned customers, building strong relationships and enabling account growth through a deep understanding of the industry and each customer’s needs. You will act as a trusted commercial partner, identifying opportunities for value add, expansion and retention while ensuring customers continue to receive a high quality experience. Alongside account management responsibilities, you will also be involved in new business activity, identifying and progressing opportunities that support the wider growth of the business. This may include prospecting, supporting discovery conversations, and converting opportunities into long term customers. You will lead and manage Quarterly Business Reviews for our most engaged customers, act as a point of escalation where required, and take ownership of renewals and retention across your portfolio. Travel may be required to visit customers, attend meetings or represent the business at industry events. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning the full customer journey, from first conversation through to long term partnership and growth. What You’ll Be Doing • Managing and developing a portfolio of assigned customer accounts, acting as the primary point of contact, • Building strong long term customer relationships through regular communication and strategic engagement, • Driving account growth through value add and staircase selling opportunities, • Leading and delivering Quarterly Business Reviews for key customers, presenting insights, performance and recommendations, • Managing renewals and retention activity to support recurring revenue and long term customer value, • Acting as a point of escalation for customer issues, coordinating internal teams to ensure timely and effective resolution, • Identifying, researching and progressing new business opportunities within target markets, • Initiating outbound contact with prospective customers via phone, email and social channels, • Qualifying inbound and outbound leads to understand customer needs, budget and suitability, • Booking, leading and supporting discovery meetings with prospects and existing customers, • Building and maintaining a strong and accurate sales pipeline, • Working closely with Client Services, Product and Operations teams to ensure smooth delivery and high customer satisfaction, • Maintaining accurate records of activity, pipeline and forecasts within CRM systems, • Providing regular reporting to the Head of Sales on account performance, risks and growth opportunities, • Representing 67 Degrees professionally with customers, prospects and at industry events, • Travelling to customer sites and meetings as required to support relationship building and growth What We’re Looking For Essential Skills: • Minimum 3 years experience in a sales, account management or commercially focused customer facing role, • Experience managing customer relationships alongside new business or upsell activity, • Strong communication and relationship building skills, • Commercially minded with a clear understanding of revenue, retention and growth, • Confidence leading customer meetings, including Quarterly Business Reviews, • Organised and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and opportunities, • Comfortable working collaboratively across sales, service and delivery teams, • Confident using CRM systems to manage pipeline and customer data, • Willingness to travel as required and represent the business professionally Desirable Skills (but not entirely essential): • Experience within SaaS, digital or automotive related industries, • Familiarity with consultative or solution led sales approaches, • Experience managing renewals, retention and account expansion, • Strong presentation and reporting skills, • Track record of growing account value and long term customer relationships Why Choose to Work at 67 Degrees? 67 Degrees is a specialist automotive digital agency with a reputation for doing things properly.
