Furniture Handling: Assemble and disassemble various types of event furniture, including tables, chairs, and stages. Conduct routine inspections of furniture to ensure it is in good condition and ready for use. Perform minor repairs and maintenance on furniture as needed. Decorations Management: Carefully pack, unpack, and store decorations to prevent damage. Assist in the preparation and arrangement of decorations according to event specifications. Coordinate with the decorating team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of items to event sites. Removable Flooring: Install and dismantle removable flooring at event sites. Ensure flooring is securely fitted and meets safety standards. Clean and maintain flooring materials to extend their usability. Site Preparation and Setup: Assist in the layout and setup of event sites, following specific plans and instructions. Work collaboratively with event planners and other team members to create visually appealing and functional event spaces. Ensure all items are set up correctly and in a timely manner. Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the warehouse and at event sites. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe lifting techniques. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to minimize hazards. Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries and pickups. Address client concerns and questions professionally and promptly. Assist with on-site problem-solving to ensure client satisfaction. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a warehouse or event setup role is preferred. Ability to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
