This role will not be remote. This role supports the full talent acquisition process, from sourcing through selection, across all job classifications and grades, and helps maintain recruitment pipelines to support high-volume hiring needs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Assists in achieving hiring goals by identifying, sourcing, recruiting, and screening qualified candidates., • Partners with hiring managers to develop recruitment plans, clarify required job skills, create job descriptions and competencies, and select appropriate sourcing strategies for each position., • Assists in the development of interview questions at the request of the hiring managers., • Reviews resumes against job-related requirements; conducts candidate phone screens or assessments based on qualifications; and presents qualified candidates to hiring managers., • Supports recruitment strategies by developing and maintaining candidate pipelines; proactively identify active and passive talent through the execution of recruitment plans and creative marketing strategies for high-volume staffing., • Collaborates with team members to coordinate new hire onboarding activities., • Builds community relationships by utilizing social media, competitive research, employee referrals, diverse recruitment sources, local colleges, and other outreach methods., • Tracks expenses related to talent acquisition efforts and analyzes the effectiveness of recruiting strategies to support continuous improvement., • None. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE To perform this job successfully, team members must have the following education and/or experience. • Associate degree in Human Resource Management or a related field preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered., • Two (2) years of experience performing recruiting, interviewing, marketing, advertising composition, and public interaction functions is preferred; experience in a union-represented environment is preferred., • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP / PHR or SPHR certification is preferred., • Previous experience with an applicant tracking system (ATS) and other Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) is preferred. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • Proficiency in using social media, job boards, internet research, and sourcing techniques., • Knowledge of selection methods, including employment testing, behavioral interviewing, and compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations., • Knowledge of human resources policies and processes, including recruiting and selection, employee labor relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, and development., • Proficiency in computer-based technologies, including Microsoft Office and other software applications, spreadsheets, and databases., • Ability to collaborate inclusively with team members and departments, valuing diverse perspectives and fostering an environment of mutual respect and effective communication., • Ability to analyze data and apply findings to recruiting decisions., • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks effectively., • Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required during peak hiring periods.
