Our Purpose is to Empower Members to Achieve Financial Success. The Traveling Universal Banker provides flexible staffing support across all branches within the footprint. This role performs the full range of frontline banking functions—including teller transactions, sales conversations, account opening, and account maintenance—while delivering a consistent member experience across locations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys variety, and is willing to travel regularly to meet branch staffing needs. You will learn how to be the expert to best serve our members: • Accurately execute deposits, withdrawals, payments, check cashing, and other standard transactions; follow cash‑handling and operational procedures., • Conduct needs‑based conversations; recommend products/services; make proactive referrals to partners; support branch sales goals and outbound follow‑ups., • Open new accounts and assist members with account maintenance requests, updates, and troubleshooting., • Assist members with lending needs, including completing loan applications and processing to closing loans., • Provide guidance and support on complex member inquiries, resolving escalated service issues with professionalism and empathy., • Work operational Salesforce cases during periods of low branch activity, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of member requests., • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and technology tools to deliver exceptional support., • Troubleshoot member online banking and digital service issues, providing clear guidance and solutions. You will learn how to be the expert to best serve our members: • Deliver an exceptional member and employee experience., • Mentor and train teller staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment., • Model exceptional service standards for both members and colleagues, consistently delivering positive experiences., • Assist with teller transactions and support staffing needs at other branch locations or the call center as required., • Participate in branch activities, table events, and community engagement opportunities to promote Elements Financials’ mission and values., • Support a culture of respect, inclusion, and integrity in all interactions. You will make a difference as you live out our purpose: • Proactively utilize sales resources to identify needs‑based member opportunities that enhance overall branch performance., • Engage members with transition statements that create interest in speaking with partners in Mortgage, Commercial, or Wealth Management., • Collaborate with branch and operations teams to achieve branch goals and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives., • Support the implementation of new products, services, and technology enhancements through feedback and training. Travel & Branch Support: • Travel to branches across the footprint based on daily and weekly staffing needs., • Adapt quickly to different branch environments, teams, and operational workflows., • Provide coverage during vacations, leaves, staffing shortages, and peak-volume periods. Minimum Requirements: • Minimum 1 year of experience in retail banking, operations, or customer service preferred., • High School diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certificate., • Flexibility and comfort with change., • Strong problem solving, collaboration and communication skills., • High reliability and dependability., • Ability to leverage skills, knowledge, and experience to invest in our community., • Ability to foster an inclusive environment that promotes belonging.
