We're supported by top, mission-driven VCs to empower families throughout the country. The Role We're looking a passionate and empathetic individual to join our team as a Medical Actor. This part-time, onsite role in Indianapolis, IN offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to medical education. As a Medical Actor, you will portray real patient scenarios to help healthcare professionals and students strengthen their clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills. Your work will play a vital role in preparing future providers for real-world patient interactions. This is a contract position with an estimated daily rate of $100, requiring a commitment of 2–3 days per week. Key Responsibilities: • Maintain Professionalism - Ensure all interactions are professional, realistic, and reflective of actual patient encounters, • Portray Medical Scenarios - Accurately simulate a variety of medical conditions, symptoms, and patient histories according to scripted cases, • Participate in Assessments - Engage in clinical assessments or exams, acting as the patient while being evaluated by students or professionals, • Adapt to Different Roles - Take on various roles, including patients with diverse age groups, backgrounds, and medical conditionsThe Requirements:, • Must have at least a high school diploma or GED, • Demonstrate ability and willingness to work cooperatively with students, administrators, and staff, • Good communication and interpersonal skills, • Competitive compensation packages that reflect the value you bring.
