Job Summary The Engineering Financial Analyst plays a key role in supporting the Company’s financial planning, acquisition modeling, and risk management strategies under the direction of the CFO. This role will also contribute to marketing, hedging, financial compliance, and reporting functions, while providing ad hoc financial analysis to support investment decisions and capital structure planning. The Analyst will collaborate with multiple departments to ensure robust, data-driven insights and will assist in preparing materials for the Company’s lenders and Board of Managers. Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Build and manage leveraged acquisition models., • Conduct financial analyses to support internal decision-making and project evaluations., • Prepare models, materials, and sensitivities for equity and debt stakeholders., • Support corporate risk management and insurance reporting activities., • Compile, analyze, and report operational and financial data for management and operations teams., • Partner with engineering to ensure financial models reflect current reserve forecasts and assumptions., • Manage and extract data from the Company’s reserve database in collaboration with the Reservoir Engineering team., • Support execution of the Company’s hedging strategies., • Assist in preparing investor materials, including quarterly Board of Managers presentations., • Support compliance and reporting requirements related to the Company’s credit facility. Education: • Strong analytical and organizational skills., • Excellent written and verbal communication., • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment., • Creative problem-solving mindset., • High attention to detail and accuracy., • Discretion and sensitivity to confidential information., • 7+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis within the oil and gas industry, • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. The base compensation for this role in this location is targeted between $91,000 and $148,000 annually. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the range listed above. Candidates currently residing in locations outside of daily commuting distance will be considered, however, it is the expectation that the selected individual will be available at the work location. Work Environment: This position operates in an office environment. This entails working inside an office space wherein employees may be provided a public workstation (cubicle) or private office. From time to time, the role will require field visits where exposure to extreme weather conditions, fumes, airborne particles, vibrations, dust, electrical charges and other unforeseen exposures may be encountered. Physical Demands: In the performance of the duties and responsibilities of this job, the employee is required to have visual acuity to operate a motor vehicle and view a computer terminal for prolonged periods of time. While at work sites, the employee will be expected to walk and stand. Individuals might be asked to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and/or crawl. Individuals might be required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. in the performance of this position. Position Type and Working Hours: This is a full-time position. Core work hours are from 8:00 a.m.– 5:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday, and 8:00am – 12:00pm on Friday. Employees must be capable and willing to work overtime as required and to participate in occasional meetings, events, seminars, conferences, or other activities outside of typical work hours. Employees responsible for project operations are expected to monitor and, in some cases, respond to emails, calls, or texts outside of business hours. Travel: Occasional travel to work site locations may be expected. Overnight stays may be required from time to time for training, seminars, field visits, or visits to onsite locations.
