Job Description We are looking for a Business Accountant to join our team! We are a virtual bookkeeping firm. You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our clients. This is a work-from-home position. Responsibilities • Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports, • Develop and analyze monthly reporting for business operations, • Perform audits, ensuring adherence to GAAP requirements, • Set-up and maintain client accounting schedules, • Calculate adjusting journal entries, • Complete bookkeeping tasks as needed, • Assign and monitor bookkeeping tasks, • Maintain project management software, • Minimum four years of verified accounting experience, • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP, • Bachelor's degree in accounting, • Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools, • Detail and deadline-oriented, • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, • Strong time-management skills; ability to prioritize, and organize, • Clear background check, • Private home office with reliable internet service, • Windows operating system with multiple monitors
