We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate shipment and receipt of goods. The successful candidate will handle aspects of shipping and receiving, including inventory management, order verification, and proper documentation, while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Material Handling: • Receive, verify, and record incoming shipments of materials, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders and packing lists., • Safely and efficiently move materials to designated storage or production areas using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts., • Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry and physical counts., • Ensure materials are stored in designated locations and organized for easy access., • Work closely with production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials for assembly operations., • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment., • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics is a plus., • 2+ years of experience in shipping and receiving, warehousing, or logistics., • Familiarity with shipping software and inventory management systems., • Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment., • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills., • Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs., • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including ITAR, is a plus., • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal., • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
