Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist, • Discipline: Therapy, • Start Date: 07/06/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 8 hours, days, • Employment Type: Local Contract Position Overview Location: Newport Beach, California 92660 Job Title: Speech Therapist II Position Type: Contract - 03+ months (with possibilities of extension) Core Responsibilities • Assess patients for speech-language therapy needs., • Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans., • Review medical histories and perform evaluations/screenings., • Establish care plans with patients and families., • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment and home programs., • Conduct re-evaluations and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams., • Manage multiple patients concurrently., • Complete documentation accurately and in compliance with regulations., • Participate in continuing education and apply evidence-based practices., • Assist with orientation of new staff., • Serve as a clinical instructor for interns., • Conduct literature reviews and staff consultations., • Provide staff in-services and clinical education support. Required Experience • 18+ months of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)., • Required Clinical Knowledge, • Experience treating patients across:, • General Medicine, • Orthopedics, • Neurology, • Cardiopulmonary, • Gastroenterology, • Otolaryngology (ENT), • Required Certifications & Licensure, • Current California Speech-Language Pathologist license., • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
