Responsibilities The attending psychiatrist if the clinical lead of the assigned inpatient team and is responsible for all aspects of patient care on the team, including safety and quality. Direct Patient Care • Provide direct care for a specific number of patients on the unit, including appropriate and timely documentation., • Complete admission assessment for all patients within 24hr of inpatient admission, and re-assess patients in a timely fashion.
