Job DescriptionJourneyman Electrician Location: Coors Field & McGregor Square – Denver, CO Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (with evenings, weekends, overtime, and on-call rotation as needed) Position Overview The Colorado Rockies organization is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to support electrical operations at Coors Field and McGregor Square. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electrical and fire safety systems while ensuring compliance with local and national codes. You will work closely with our Engineering team to keep critical stadium infrastructure running at peak performance. Key Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, fire alarm systems, and related equipment in compliance with current codes and standards., • Perform proactive and preventive maintenance to ensure reliability and safety., • Install new electrical services, including EMT conduit, VFDs, lighting controls, wire pulling, and related hardware., • Interpret and execute work from blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer manuals., • Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform effective root‑cause analysis., • Assist in oversight of contracted electrical projects and subcontractors., • Support all work orders, projects, and preventive maintenance tasks for both Coors Field and McGregor Square., • Collaborate with Engineering staff and provide cross‑trade support when necessary., • Participate in the rotating 7‑day on‑call schedule for emergency response., • Perform additional duties as assigned.Required Qualifications, • High School Diploma or GED., • Minimum 5 years of electrical maintenance experience., • State of Colorado Journeyman Electrician License (Required)., • Master Electrician License (Preferred)., • Experience with fire alarm systems (Simplex preferred)., • Working knowledge of lighting controls, OSHA safety standards, and electrical systems., • Knowledge of low‑voltage and A/V systems (Preferred)., • Ability to interpret electrical drawings, plans, and technical documents., • Ability to operate trade-related equipment (forklifts, lifts, carts, etc.)., • Valid driver’s license in good standing., • Able to work independently and within a team environment.Working Conditions, • Lift and carry tools/equipment up to 50 lbs regularly (up to 75 lbs occasionally)., • Frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, and work in confined or elevated spaces., • Exposure to varying weather conditions, temperature extremes, noise, dust, and chemicals., • High noise levels at times—PPE provided., • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, overtime, game days, and special events.Why Join the Colorado Rockies Team?, • Family‑friendly work environment with a strong team culture., • Receive four (4) free tickets to every home game., • Work at one of Denver’s most iconic venues with opportunities to support large‑scale events.
