Bowman Law is hiring an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to support our attorneys in all phases of litigation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing the litigation portion of personal injury cases, can manage case deadlines independently, and takes ownership of the litigation process. Responsibilities: • Manage multiple personal injury litigation cases from filing through trial;, • Draft and file pleadings, motions, disclosures, discovery requests and responses, and subpoenas;, • Coordinate and track deadlines in accordance with Colorado court and Federal court rules;, • Communicate with clients, medical providers, experts, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel;, • Gather, review, and organize medical records, bills, and other case-related documents;, • Assist with deposition preparation, trial preparation, and exhibits;, • Coordinate and schedule depositions, mediations, and court appearances;, • Maintain accurate case files and update case management systems. Job Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Certification): • Minimum 2+ years of personal injury litigation experience in Colorado;, • Excellent interpersonal skills;, • Excellent organizational skills;, • Excellent data entry skills;, • Ability to work effectively under pressure;, • Ability to work independently;, • Professional, detail-oriented, and self-motivated;, • Excellent judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills;, • Strong knowledge of Colorado Rules of Civil Procedure and court filing systems;, • Proficiency with legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite;, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;, • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision;, • Excellent judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills;, • Interest in working in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills: • Minimum 3+ years of personal injury litigation experience in Colorado;, • Strong knowledge of Colorado and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and court filing systems;, • Proficiency with legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite;, • Legal research using law databases and procedural rules;, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;, • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision;, • Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred;, • Experience with Filevine case management system. Environment • Professional office atmosphere. Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting or standing for prolonged periods. Position may require occasional off-hour meetings and events. Salary • $75,000 - $85,000 a year, • Bowman Law takes into consideration a candidate’s education, training, and experience, as well as the position's work location, external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment when determining the salary level for potential new employees. A discretionary bonus may be available based upon performance.
