Job Description Pay: $23.00–$26.00 per hour, depending on experience Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday Location: Denver, Colorado Work arrangement: 100% in person — this is not a remote or hybrid position Important Application Requirements A professional design portfolio is required to be considered. Applications submitted without a working portfolio link or attached portfolio will not be reviewed. Applicants must also be able to commute reliably to our Denver studio and work on-site full time. We are not considering remote candidates for this position. About Pureblind Pureblind is a Denver-based creative studio specializing in custom vehicle wraps, commercial fleet graphics, wall and window graphics, branding, large-format printing, and specialty visual installations. We are driven by creative vision. Our clients come to us because they want more than generic sign-shop design. We combine high-level artistic thinking with real-world production experience to create graphics that are visually distinctive, commercially effective, and built to perform in the physical world. Our work can be found on vehicles, walls, windows, buildings, and branded environments throughout Colorado and beyond. We have worked with businesses large and small, completed projects for organizations such as the Denver Art Museum, and have developed a reputation for exceptional design, craftsmanship, and client experience. We are currently expanding and rebuilding our design department and are looking for a talented graphic designer who wants to grow within a serious creative-production environment. The Position This is not a social media design position, a web design position, or a remote branding role. Our designers create artwork that becomes a physical product. That may include: • Custom vehicle wraps and commercial fleet graphics, • Wall murals and environmental graphics, • Window graphics and signage, • Branding and visual identity applications, • Client proofs and vehicle mockups, • Print-ready production artwork, • Large-format layouts, • Promotional and supporting graphics, • Revisions, file cleanup, and production preparation The right candidate will already have a strong foundation in graphic design and Adobe Illustrator. We will teach the right person our vehicle-wrap and large-format production process, but we are not looking to teach someone the fundamentals of Illustrator from the beginning. You should be comfortable receiving direct creative feedback, learning a highly specific workflow, working through revisions, and balancing artistic quality with real production deadlines. What We Are Looking For Our ideal candidate is a genuine designer with a strong visual eye, good judgment, and a desire to improve. You may lean more toward creative concept development and illustration, or you may be especially strong in layout, organization, accuracy, and production volume. Both skill sets are valuable within our operation. The strongest candidates will demonstrate: • Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, • A professional portfolio showing legitimate graphic design work, • Solid understanding of typography, composition, hierarchy, branding, and layout, • Ability to create clean, organized, production-ready files, • Comfort working through multiple projects, revisions, and deadlines, • Ability to receive feedback without becoming defensive, • Strong attention to detail, • Good communication and organizational habits, • Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a collaborative team, • Genuine interest in physical design applications such as vehicles, walls, signage, print, packaging, or environmental graphics, • Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following areas is highly valuable, but not required: • Vehicle-wrap design, • Large-format printing, • Signage or environmental graphics, • Packaging or print production, • Commercial branding, • Illustration or custom artwork, • Prepress and production-file preparation, • Working with scaled templates, dielines, or dimensional surfaces A candidate with strong design fundamentals, excellent Illustrator skills, and the right attitude can be trained in our specific production process. What Success Looks Like A successful Pureblind designer does more than make attractive graphics. They learn to understand: • How artwork behaves at full scale, • How a design moves across multiple sides of a vehicle, • How hierarchy changes when something is viewed from a distance, • How to balance creativity with branding and client objectives, • How to prepare files so printing and installation succeed, • How to work quickly while maintaining a high standard, • How to take ownership of a project from initial concept through production We are looking for someone who wants to become better—not someone who believes they have nothing left to learn. Why Pureblind? Pureblind offers a rare opportunity to work in a creative studio where design becomes something real. You will see your artwork installed on vehicles, walls, windows, and physical spaces. You will work directly with an experienced creative team, learn advanced large-format and production methods, and receive hands-on mentorship from Pureblind’s owner and creative director. This is an excellent position for a designer who already has a strong technical foundation and wants to take their work to another level. Our studio is visually inspiring, our portfolio is diverse, and the work changes constantly. We care deeply about the craft, the client experience, and creating a healthy workplace where talented people can do meaningful work. Compensation and Growth • Starting pay: $24.00–$26.00 per hour, depending on experience, • Full-time, in-person position, • Monday through Friday schedule, • Opportunity for performance-based growth, • Hands-on training in vehicle wraps, environmental graphics, and large-format production, • Direct mentorship and exposure to advanced professional design methods Exceptional candidates with highly relevant production or large-format experience may be considered above the listed range. How to Apply Please submit: • Your resume, • A direct link to your professional design portfolio, • A brief explanation of your Adobe Illustrator experience, • Any examples of work involving print, signage, packaging, environmental graphics, vehicle graphics, or other physical design applications Applications without a portfolio will not be considered. Please apply only if you are available to work full time and in person at our Denver studio. We look forward to seeing your work.
