Job Description Perimeter Veterinary Center looking for a Relief Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team on a flexible, as-needed basis. This is a great opportunity for an experienced technician who enjoys working in a supportive environment without committing to a full-time schedule. As a relief RVT, you’ll assist with appointments, surgical prep and monitoring, dental cleanings, patient care, and client communication. You’ll be part of a team that values collaboration, compassion, and quality care—for both our patients and their people. Compensation**: • $19-$23 per hour, for each hour worked* Minimum qualifications and skill set: • 0-1 years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting, • Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of Kansas, • Proficiency in the following skills: Monitor anesthesia and assist in surgery * Perform dental cleanings and radiographs * Administer medications and treatments * Maintain accurate medical records * Educate clients on follow-up care and general pet health Perimeter Veterinary Center, located in Shawnee, Kansas, is dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate veterinary care for pets.
