Job DescriptionDescription: Position Summary The Fundraising Manager advances Santa Marta’s mission as a Catholic community by leading strategic philanthropic development efforts and fostering meaningful engagement opportunities. This role builds strong connections among residents, associates, families, and the wider community by cultivating donor relationships, securing charitable support, and driving fundraising initiatives that sustain Santa Marta’s vision and services. In alignment with Catholic values of service, dignity, and stewardship, the Fundraising Manager also partners across the organization to support mission-centered activities and community engagement that enrich the lives of those we serve. Key Responsibilities Fundraising & Development Leadership • Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies, including annual appeals, major gifts, and special campaigns., • Lead planning and execution of signature fundraising events, including the Santa Marta Scramble (annual golf classic)., • Cultivate, solicit, and steward relationships with residents, families, donors, and community partners., • Identify and pursue new funding opportunities, including grants and corporate partnerships., • Oversee donor communications, recognition, and reporting to ensure strong engagement and retention., • Collaborate with leadership to align fundraising priorities with organizational goals and strategic initiatives. Community Engagement & Mission Support • Partner with internal teams to promote a culture of philanthropy and community engagement across Santa Marta., • Support and enhance mission-centered activities that connect residents, associates, and the broader community., • Build relationships with local schools, parishes, and nonprofit organizations to strengthen community partnerships., • Encourage participation in service and engagement opportunities that reflect Santa Marta’s mission and values. Requirements: Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business, Communications, or related field., • Proven success in fundraising, donor development, or nonprofit advancement., • Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills., • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute effectively., • Passion for serving older adults and strengthening community connections., • Catholic preferred.
