This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nonprofit finance professional or an Assistant Controller ready to step into a leadership role, to bring their skills to a purpose-driven organization Position Summary The Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Coordinator provides operational, technical, and administrative support to Heart to Heart International’s monitoring, evaluation, and reporting functions. This role focuses on the execution and coordination of established M&E processes, including data management, reporting system support, survey administration, documentation, and staff assistance. The M&E Coordinator works under the direction of the M&E Manager and collaborates with program teams to ensure accurate, timely, and well-documented data for internal and external reporting. Responsibilities Reporting Tools & System Support • Support routine maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of reporting tools and dashboards, • Implement approved updates and changes to reporting systems under the direction of the M&E Manager, • Identifydata discrepancies or system issues and escalate them as appropriate Data Management & Quality • Perform data cleansing, validation, and verification to ensure accuracy and reliability of datasets, • Maintain program databases and reporting filesin accordance withestablished procedures, • Support consistent application of data standards across programs Survey Development & Administration • Build, administer, and manage surveys for programs and departments using approved tools and templates, • Coordinate survey deployment, data collection, and basic quality checks, • Ensure surveys align with established data-collection standards and program objectives SOPs & Documentation • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to M&E tools and workflows, • Document program reporting workflows to support knowledge sharing and operational efficiency, • Ensure documentationremainscurrent following system updates or process changes Training & User Support • Provide day-to-day support to staff using reporting and project management tools, • Assistwith onboarding and training of new employees on established M&E systems, • Respond to routine staff questions and escalate complex issues to the M&E Manager Administrative & Cross-Functional Support • Support monitoring of the Safe Harbor/Concur travel management platform, including user access and system updates, • Assistwithinitialvetting of potential partners related to data, compliance, or reporting requirements, • Provide general administrative and coordination support to programs as needed, • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments in support of program operations Qualifications Education • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Public Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field, • 1–3 years of experience in data coordination, reporting support, program administration, or analytics, • Experience in nonprofit, humanitarian, or program-based environments preferred Requirements Technical Skills • Proficiencyin Microsoft Excel and familiarity with reporting or data-visualization tools, • Experience with survey and data-collection platforms (e.g., SurveyMonkey, Kobo,MagPi,FastField), • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy, • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, • Ability to follow standardized processes and meet deadlines, • Clear written and verbal communication skills Heart to Heart International (HHI) is committed to accomplishing its mission in a way that protects all program beneficiaries and personnel.
