Job Description The Admissions Training Specialist builds skilled, confident, and high-performing Admissions Representatives through structured onboarding, targeted coaching, quality observations, and performance-based development. This is a highly visible, campus-facing role that works directly with Admissions Representatives and campus leadership to strengthen execution, consistency, and enrollment outcomes across assigned campuses and cohorts.The Training Specialist leads and executes new-hire onboarding and ongoing training needs for both new and tenured representatives, completing targeted training for call quality, interviews and product knowledge or any other Admissions metrics or KPI’s to drive measurable improvement and execution. The Training Specialist perform observations to determine employee needs to prepare and deliver appropriate trainings. This individual partners closely with the Admissions Success & Strategic Coach, ADOA, Director of Admissions and Executive Director to help strengthen the knowledge and performance of each member of the team. This position requires frequent travel (up to 90%) and the flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends (including Sundays), as needed. This position requires regular on-campus presence and leadership engagement. On Site - Central Florida Region (Deland, Orlando, Kissimmee, Lakeland, and Tampa Campuses). Qualifications/Education: • Minimum of an Associate Degree required in any field from an accredited institution., • At least 2 years of proven experience in a similar position demonstrating strong coaching, training design, and development, to support and excel in the performance of employees., • Minimum one year of successful admissions experience, preferably in career, technical, or higher education., • Ability to motivate, influence, and lead direct coaching conversations related to performance., • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills., • Proficiency with technology systems, • High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: New Hire Training and Cohort Development • Lead and execute onboarding and skill-based training for assigned new Admissions Representative cohorts., • Ensure assigned representatives meet progressive enrollment and start expectations at the 30, 60, and 90-day milestones through targeted coaching and development., • Partner with campus leadership and the Vice President of Admissions to align expectations, review progress, and address performance gaps., • Conduct role plays, call reviews, interview observations, and side-by-side coaching to improve execution and consistency., • Identify early performance risks and apply focused coaching interventions.
