Job Description We are seeking an experienced Florida Licensed Title Agent to join our growing, compliance-driven title operation. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can manage files from contract to post closing with precision, confidence, and a strong understanding of Florida real estate transactions. You will play a central role in ensuring clear titles, accurate settlement statements, and smooth, legally sound closings. This position offers the unique opportunity to work directly alongside a real estate attorney, providing exposure to contract interpretation, complex title resolution, and sophisticated transaction structuring. Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 yearly Responsibilities: • Manage residential and commercial files from opening through post closing and policy issuance, • Prepare and review title commitments, clear title requirements, and issue final title policies in accordance with underwriter guidelines, • Conduct and review title searches, analyze public records, and identify liens, encumbrances, and potential defects=, • Prepare and balance settlement statements and coordinate escrow disbursements with accuracy and accountability, • Review lender closing instructions and ensure compliance with TRID, RESPA, and applicable federal and Florida regulatory requirements, • Coordinate closely with lenders, real estate agents, buyers, sellers, and attorneys to facilitate efficient and professional closings, • Resolve title issues independently by working with all relevant parties to clear defects and ensure insurability, • Maintain organized and compliant transaction files in accordance with Florida Department of Financial Services regulations and underwriter standardsQualifications:, • Active Florida Title Agent license in good standing, • Proven experience managing real estate closings within a Florida title or mortgage environment, • Strong understanding of Florida real estate contracts, including FAR BAR forms, • Ability to interpret lender instructions and issue title commitments and policies confidently and accurately, • Demonstrated experience in balancing settlement statements and handling escrow funds responsibly, • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously, • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications • Experience handling commercial transactions, complex title matters, FIRPTA transactions, or 1031 exchanges, • Familiarity with modern title production software and digital closing platforms, • Background in banking, financial services, or legal environmentsAbout Company Landtrust Title of Central Florida is an attorney-owned and operated title company.
