Job DescriptionPosition: Implementation Coordinator Classification: Full-time, Exempt Reports to: Sr. Operations Manager Company: DePelchin Family Services Location: Houston, TX Position Description: The Implementation Coordinator supports organization-wide systems change and operational excellence by assisting with the rollout of new initiatives, operational models, and cross-network efforts. This role works closely with internal teams and external partners to anticipate challenges, plan and align implementation activities, and ensure the effective execution of strategic operational priorities. The Coordinator will contribute to the design and execution of system-wide strategies; developing tools, guidance, and processes that support smooth and consistent implementation; and facilitating collaboration that drives continuous improvement and sustainable change. The Implementation Coordinator also helps identify operational needs and supports the development and implementation of strategies that enable the Operational Initiatives team to deploy its efforts efficiently and effectively. Primary Responsibilities: • Attain comprehensive knowledge of current and emerging systems changes in the child welfare system., • Understand the roles and responsibilities of internal teams and external stakeholders across the child welfare system., • Follow funder and agency policies related to grants and operational requirements with accuracy and attention to detail., • Design, plan, and facilitate activities, trainings, informational sessions, and working groups for various initiatives., • Translate complex policy and procedural information into clear, actionable steps for diverse audiences., • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships across domains and stakeholder groups., • Stay current on industry trends, sector research, policy developments, and relevant data at the federal, state, and local levels., • Manage multiple implementation and operations projects simultaneously aligned to strategic organizational objectives., • Identify implementation challenges and propose effective, solutions-oriented approaches., • Work both independently and in cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment., • Collaborate effectively across departments and functional areas to align strategies and share information., • Work effectively with diverse populations, respecting cultural and organizational differences in service delivery and communication., • Facilitate in-person and virtual engagements, adapting content and methods to meet the needs of varied audiences., • Uphold confidentiality of client and agency informationRequired Qualifications:, • Bachelor’s degree in human or social services required., • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in human or social services industry., • Experience managing multiple projects or workstreams with attention to detail and timely follow-through., • Experience reading, interpreting, and synthesizing information from complex documents (e.g., policy manuals, procedural guides) to support implementation of system-wide initiatives.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:, • Ability to work independently and in a team environment while managing multiple priorities, timelines, and complex projects in a dynamic, high-accountability setting., • Proven skills in collaborating across departments and managing external provider, stakeholder, and community relationships., • Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, and facilitate meetings, working groups, and community events., • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly in verbal and written forms, tailoring content to varied audiences., • Ability to write clearly and succinctly, with the capacity to synthesize and interpret procedural documents, guidance materials, and program requirements., • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify barriers and develop effective solutions., • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation, tracking, and follow-up., • Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a service-oriented mindset when working with sensitive provider or organizational information., • Ability to build rapport and work effectively with culturally and professionally diverse populations using inclusive, respectful communication., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and virtual platforms such as Zoom or Teams.Work Conditions:, • Environment: Hybrid, • Range of Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm DePelchin is committed to selecting and employing the best and most qualified person available for each job opening without unlawful discrimination of any kind.
