Job Description JumpStart Autism Collective, a pillar in the ABA therapy community, is hiring full time and part time Behavioral Technicians (ABA Therapists) to work at our Albuquerque NM center. Our ABA Therapists - Behavioral Techs go through initial training (making $18.50 - $19.50/hour) and earn $20.50 - $21.50/hour once that period is over. OUR IDEAL PERSON • 18+ years old, • High school diploma or equivalent, • Valid driver's license with a reliable, insured, and registered vehicle, • CPR certification or ability to obtain one, • Professionalism, dependability, and punctuality, • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, • Ability to work independently, receive constructive feedback, and adapt to changing environments, • Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform quick body movements, • Willingness to complete all required trainings, • Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or behavior analysis - preferred, • Experience with kids with autism or developmental disabilities - preferred AVERAGE DAY As an ABA Therapist - Behavioral Tech, you'll lead 1:1 therapy sessions to teach children with autism (ages 1 to 12) life skills while managing challenging behaviors. You'll work under a BCBA, following personalized therapy paths to help each client achieve their targets. Here's a closer look: • Implement ABA therapy practices to help clients gain new skills and reduce behaviors, • Accurately record all session data and make detailed notes about the client's behaviors and progress, • Communicate with parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders, • Maintain learning materials and keep the therapy environment clean and organized, • Engage in crisis intervention and prevention as needed, • Follow industry policies, laws, and code of ethics, • Maintain client confidentiality Job Posted by ApplicantPro
