A minimum of 40 hours per week is expected, but evenings, weekends, and additional time will often be required to support customer needs, race weekends, trackside activities, and local or national travel. Because compensation includes both base salary and commission, top performers are expected to engage with customers proactively when opportunities arise, including outside normal business hours. As success in the role grows, greater flexibility in managing time may be earned. Experience in the racing industry, along with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships, is highly valued. Success in this role requires a proactive approach to sales, attention to detail, adaptability, and a team-first mindset. A high-performing Race Sales Associate takes initiative, supports others when needed, and consistently represents Crown Racing with professionalism to deliver an exceptional customer experience. This is a results-driven position where the right candidate takes ownership of their responsibilities, naturally commits the time required to complete sales tasks, and prioritizes customer needs to drive successful outcomes. Responsibilities • Lead and manage race sales from time of lead procurement to customer delivery, • Meet and interface with existing race customers, • Meet and interface with new race customer leads, • Maintain a high standard of service throughout the sales cycle, • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the client journey, • Ensure timely updates, responsiveness, and personalized engagement, • Proactively manage follow-ups post-sale to encourage feedback, repeat business, and client satisfaction, • Develop and manage relationships with racing clients, teams, and event partners, • Coordinate sales and logistics for trackside services and race event support, • Collaborate with marketing to optimize brand visibility and engagement, • Identify growth opportunities in motorsports and upsell relevant services, • Understand the customer expectations and relay internally with updated Work Orders, • Use Google Docs and Google Sheets routinely for sales efforts, • Help grow the Crown Race division through sales efforts, • Customer Invoice Final Review and Approval, • Communication with Customers for project status, change orders and billing, • Maintain accurate CRM records to track customer preferences, history, and communication, • Continuous follow-up with sales leads via emails and phone calls, • Attend track and race event routinelySkills and Qualifications, • 5 or more years experience in a communications and sales role, • Hands-on familiarity with Radical Motorsports, LMP3, LMP2, Porsche, McLaren or other race platforms, • Broad knowledge of major racing series such as IMSA, SRO, HSR, USAC or RNCA, • Ability to perform calmly and accurately under high-pressure, time-critical conditions, • Strong organizational skills with disciplined documentation, • Willingness and physical capability to travel extensively and work extended hours, • Ability to complete tasks within a deadline, • Self motivation with a focus on delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction, • Willingness to gain necessary training by participating in seminars and classes, • Flexibility to learn quickly in a fast-growing environment with aggressive timelines, • Ability to lift 40 lbs without aid frequently and occasionally up to or over 50 lbs, • A team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills, • Proven experience in creating, reading and understanding sales agreements, • Excellent troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving, • Clean Driving Record with valid AZ Driving License, • Proven track record with stable work history, • High School Diploma/GED preferredSoftware Tools, • Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, Gmail), • CRM Tools, • Accounting Tools (QuickBooks or Equivalent)Compensation and Benefits, • Competitive starting pay based on skills, experience and relevant education, • Compensation: Annual Base Salary, starting at $58,000, • Plus a Performance-Based Incentive Plan, • Based on monthly and quarterly total race sales of parts and labor, • On target earnings of $18,000 annually, with additional incentives for beating goals, • Paid Time Off (10 days per year following probationary period), • Paid Holidays (Typically 7 per year), • Health, Dental and Vision Insurance, • 401K Plan, • Continuous learning opportunities and advancement within the companyJoin us if youre ready to take your career to the next level and be part of a team that strives for excellence.
