Job Description Lobby Ambassador (On-Call) Hourly Compensation: $23.25 Non-Exempt, Overtime Eligible (This is a fixed hourly wage rate. No wage range exists). ABOUT OUR MANAGEMENT COMPANY • The R.C. Hedreen Company is Seattle’s pre-eminent hotel developer. The company built the Hilton, Crowne Plaza, Renaissance, Grand Hyatt, Hyatt at Olive 8, Hyatt Regency, and more to come, • Ownership is also the management company – No red tape, • 4th largest hotel in Seattle with 557 rooms, 28,000 sq. ft of meeting space, • Stable operation – hotel has never been sold, • Never closed during the pandemic even though about 30 other hotels in Seattle were closed for more than 1 year, • Although we had to lay-off 90% of our staff at the beginning of the pandemic, we brought the majority of them back. Our people are very loyal to the hotel & were waiting for our call to return • Welcome and engage with all guests entering the lobby, ensuring a warm and professional first impression, • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for guests by providing accurate information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions, • Maintain a well-organized and inviting lobby environment that reflects Marriott brand standards, • Assist in managing guest traffic during high-volume periods and group arrivals, • Support front desk, bell, and valet teams by coordinating guest flow and facilitating communication between departments, • Identify guest needs proactively and offer assistance before being approached, • Effectively handle guest concerns or complaints, ensuring prompt resolution and escalation when appropriate, • Deliver personalized recommendations to enhance the overall guest experience, • Communicate consistently and effectively with relevant departments to meet guest expectations, • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, • Genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest service, • Ability to remain composed and professional in a fast-paced environment, • Familiarity with Marriott brand standards is an advantage, • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, is required Renaissance Seattle is an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive culture.
