Job DescriptionElectromechanical Assembler - $18-25/hourBuild Mission‑Critical Systems That Support the U.S. Navy Step into a hands‑on role where precision, craftsmanship, and purpose come together. As an Electromechanical Assembler, you’ll be a key contributor to the production of advanced electromechanical systems used by the U.S. Navy. Your work will directly support high‑reliability, mission‑critical applications—where quality and attention to detail truly matter. In this role, you’ll assemble, wire, test, and inspect complex systems using detailed schematics, blueprints, and work instructions. Whether building cable harnesses, integrating multi‑rack electronic systems, or performing system verification, your technical skills will help ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with exacting standards. What You’ll Do • Assemble electromechanical components, interface devices, and complete multi‑rack electronic systems (typically 3 racks per system), • Build cable harnesses, including wire stripping, crimping, terminating, labeling, and routing, • Perform minimal soldering (through‑hole and surface‑mount); additional soldering experience is a plus, • Assemble electronic enclosures and integrate wiring, connectors, and instrumentation, • Read and follow schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, PCB layouts, and detailed work instructions, • Support high‑power testing, system verification, and functional checks, • Operate DIT‑MCO (computer‑based) automated test equipment for continuity and harness testing, • Inspect assemblies to IPC‑A‑610 standards to ensure workmanship and quality, • Use precision tools such as calipers, multimeters, and ohmmeters to verify measurements and continuity, • Experience assembling electromechanical systems, cable harnesses, or electronic components, • Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation, • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, crimpers, strippers, and measurement equipment, • Basic electrical knowledge, including continuity testing and wiring standards, • Experience with DIT‑MCO or similar automated test systems, • Through‑hole and surface‑mount soldering experience, • Familiarity with electronic instrumentation and multi‑rack system integration, • Experience in defense, aerospace, or other high‑reliability manufacturing environmentsWhy You’ll Love Working Here, • Be part of a Woman‑Owned Small Business with a strong mission and meaningful impact, • Support defense, federal, civilian, and intelligence customers with innovative, real‑world solutions, • Contribute to projects that bridge capability gaps and enhance operational performance Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
