WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU • Career advancement opportunities with a growing company, • Competitive Salary and bonus compensation, • Health, Dental and Vision, • High school diploma or GED, • 2-3 year’s restaurant experience, • Exceptional attention to detail, • Excellent verbal and written communication Picture a typical day in the life of the Private Events/Catering Manager: Event Planning and Coordination • Meet with clients to understand their event requirements, including menu selection, venue setup, audiovisual needs, and special requests., • Assist clients in selecting appropriate menu options, suggesting enhancements, and finalizing event details., • Coordinate with various departments, including culinary, service, and logistics, to ensure seamless event execution., • Create detailed event timelines, including setup, service, and breakdown schedules., • Collaborate with our dedicated team, including Kitchen Managers, servers, bartenders, and support staff., • Partner with Above Store Leaders (ASL) to schedule and assign staff for catering events, ensuring proper coverage and compliance with labor regulations., • Conduct regular staff training to enhance service skills, food handling, and safety protocols., • Collaborate with the Corporate Chef to develop innovative and customizable menus based on client preferences and dietary restrictions., • Maintain catering supplies and equipment inventory, ensuring availability for events., • Identify and address operational challenges, working with the property staff and customers to develop alternative solutions., • Develop and enhance policies and procedures to optimize event productivity., • Represent the Catering Event and Sales department at restaurant pre-shift meetings, providing sales activity reports., • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, delivering exceptional customer service., • Conduct pre-event meetings with clients to review details, finalize arrangements, and address any last-minute changes., • Follow up with clients post-event to obtain feedback and address concerns or issues., • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective strategies for promoting our catering and sales services., • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to generate leads and expand our client network., • Prepare and present catering proposals, contracts, and pricing information to clients., • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and market demands to make informed business decisions. WORKING CONDITIONS: Position requires qualified individuals to see, hear and speak (verbally and audibly). May be required to work on a computer for extended periods of time, including viewing the screen, using a mouse, manipulating a keyboard with hands, and reaching with arms. May be asked to drive or travel by car, air, or other transportation for business purposes. Must be able to function effectively in a fast-paced working environment. Must be able to report to work responsive, free from sedatives, and in a non-sedative state.
