Job DescriptionLHH is proactively seeking an analytical, strategic, and detail-oriented Business Operations Manager to support one of our clients on a contract basis in the Houston area. This role plays a key function in optimizing daily operations, improving processes, supporting cross-functional teams, and driving efficient business performance. Job Title: Business Operations Manager Location: Houston area, Texas Job Type: Contract Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pay Rate: $28.00 - $36.00/hr (DOE) Role Summary As a Business Operations Manager, you will support operational planning, streamline processes, strengthen reporting, and ensure alignment across teams. You'll collaborate closely with leadership, project teams, and internal stakeholders to maintain efficient business operations and drive continuous improvement. This role is a strong fit for someone who excels in fast-paced environments and enjoys managing multiple moving pieces with precision. Key Responsibilities Operational Strategy & Planning • Support development and execution of business and operational initiatives., • Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend improvements., • Assist with annual planning, budgeting inputs, and forecasting support.Process Optimization, • Evaluate and refine existing processes to enhance productivity., • Develop and implement SOPs, workflows, and process improvements., • Track KPIs and provide insights to leadership.Cross-Functional Collaboration, • Partner with HR, Finance, Sales, and Operations to coordinate activities., • Support alignment across departments to ensure smooth business execution., • Facilitate communication and support decision-making.Project Management, • Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project activities., • Track progress, document risks, and ensure deliverables stay on target., • Prepare status updates and project reports.Reporting & Analytics, • Develop dashboards and routine operational reports., • Analyze data, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improvement., • Present insights to stakeholders as needed.Operational Support, • Help update policies, maintain documentation, and support internal communications., • Support vendor coordination, procurement processes, or contracts as needed., • Assist with special projects and ad-hoc operational needs.Qualifications Education • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, Management, or related field required., • Master's degree is a plus but not required.Experience, • 3-5+ years in business operations, project management, or a related function., • Experience working in cross-functional or fast-paced environments.Technical Skills, • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)., • Experience with project management platforms (Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com, etc.)., • Familiarity with data analytics or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) preferred.Core Competencies, • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills., • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities., • Highly organized with strong time-management skills., • Ability to improve processes and support operational efficiency., • Professional, proactive, and detail-focused.What We Offer, • Competitive hourly rate: $28.00 - $36.00/hr (DOE), • Opportunity to support high-impact operational initiatives, • Collaborative and supportive team environment, • Potential for contract extension or temp-to-hire depending on performance and client needsPay Details: $28.00 to $36.00 per hour Search managed by: Laarnie Thompson Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
