This is a great opportunity for a highly experienced individual to work with the greater retail operations team at Van Leeuwen Ice Cream as the company embarks on its next stage of growth. As an Operations Innovation Director, you are the voice and representative of our scoop shops at Headquarters and are responsible for driving flawless operations execution. You will be responsible for simplifying, streamlining, and enhancing store processes, systems, and technology, while ensuring that we continue to innovate and improve. This role will be based out of our Williamsburg, Brooklyn office and follow Van Leeuwen's Hybrid work model and be in office at least two to three days a week. The goal of the Center is to help guests begin to identify and modify the behaviors that result in repeated police contact. An OASAS licensed outpatient clinic, located on site, provides services to guests who are eligible. The maximum length of stay is 5 days. Overall Responsibilities: Under the general direction of the Assistant Program Director, the Clinical Team Lead conducts rapid assessments, engages guests in wellness, discharge, and aftercare planning, and facilitates linkages to community-based services and residential settings. The team lead also oversees a team of CASAC's and Peers and is responsible for the delegation of tasks to the team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties of the Clinical Team Lead include but are not limited to the following activities: · Provides direct care to guests through conducting rapid assessments to identify the full range of service needs and safety planning · As the primary counselor for a designated caseload - collaborates with the full on-site team to ensure coordination of care, individual counseling, treatment planning through targeted case management, and discharge planning · Promotes dignity-based care to reduce the negative effects of drug use for individuals at various stages of recovery · Models best practice, person centered, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented engagement skills for team · Counsel’s guests through individualized and group therapy sessions on issues such as wellness self-management, and community integration skills · Excellent verbal communication skills including an ability to have open and affirming conversations about health, sex and substance use risk. · Identifies and makes referrals for community-based treatment and support services. · Participates and facilitates daily team meetings · Inputs guest information and updates into the facility’s case management software system, ensuring all data is accurate and entered in a timely fashion · Promotes the professional development of supervisees through supervision, professional coaching, and training · Anticipates the needs of the clinical team they lead and executes Qualifications: LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LP or master’s level counselor with CASAC (All MSW, MHC, PC candidates must obtain NYS license within 6 months from date of hire) · A minimum of four (4) years of experience working with homeless and criminal justice involved individuals with either a diagnosis of mental illness or a substance use disorder, including experience in emergency or crisis services · Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds · The ability to work well in a highly pressured environment set and meets deadlines and delegate as appropriate · Strong communication and problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders to understand and incorporate diverse points of view, styles, and approaches · An ability to lead, collaborate, and interface with guests as well as all levels of staff · Proficiency in case management software, electronic health records, and Microsoft Office Suite · A minimum of excellent oral, writing, and listening skills All newly hired Project Renewal staff must provide verification of being full

RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as in-house litigation management counsel for the New Jersey Turnpike Authority (the “Authority”). 1. Assist the Director of Law in provision of legal advice to commissioners, departments and division heads and other Authority personnel on legal questions related to litigation matters., 2. Manage and supervise a broad range of litigation matters including contract disputes, personal injury and tort actions, regulatory and compliance actions, insurance coverage, real estate and property-related litigation and employment-related litigation., 3. Develop litigation strategies in collaboration with the Law Department and outside counsel to protect the interests of the Authority., 4. Oversee outside litigation counsel to ensure cost-effective, efficient and high-quality representation., 5. Review and analyze pleadings, motions, and discovery responses for accuracy and strategic alignment., 6. Advise the Director of Law and the Law Department on potential litigation risks, possible exposure, settlement and resolution options., 7. Monitor the progress of litigation cases, oversee budgets and timelines, and facilitate communication between outside counsel and other Authority departments to ensure prompt and efficient resolution., 8. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies throughout litigation processes., 9. Prepare updates, status reports, and recommendations for the Director of Law and other Law Department team members regarding litigation status and risk management., 10. Represent the Authority in litigation as assigned by the Director of Law., 11. Prepare legal documents as required, including position papers on litigation matters., 12. As assigned by the Director of Law, provide legal services in conjunction and coordination with Authority retained outside counsel and other retained law firms and oversee and track litigations as directed.
