POSITION DESCRIPTION: • Drive refrigerated box truck on a specific route., • Deliver Fresh Produce to Schools, Restaurants, Hotels, and Country Clubs., • Getting in and out of truck 10-20 times during shift to make deliveries, • Use the hand truck to load customers orders from the truck and transport them into the facility, • Competitive Pay, • Medical, Dental, life, and retirement benefits, • Clean driving record and current DOT medical card., • Non-CDL license with 1+ year recent, verifiable truck driving experience required., • Lifting up to a maximum of 50 lbs., • Push and Pull up to a maximum of 100 lbs. Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Driver CDL-Class A or B with passenger endorsement to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating bus or van with passengers to and from their home and to appointments. Responsibilities: • The Driver is responsible for assisting and safely transporting participants to and from the center and their residence., • Must demonstrate knowledge of the routes used in transporting clients and of the roadways in the client service area., • Safe assistance and transportation of clients, • Properly track and document activity log, • Report any issues or incidents to Administrative Office, • Inspect truck before and after trip, • Daily cleaning of interior of the vehicle, • Handling of emergencies en-route until emergency assistance arrives at vehicle, • Responsible handling of participant's personal belongings and medicationsQualifications:, • Must have a high school diploma and a New Jersey State driver's license with no more than 3 points on driving record., • Must provide STARS with DMV Abstract., • Prior experience in transportation of the elderly and/or physically/mentally challenged persons preferred.
