Job Description Security Dispatcher Company: Giddens Security Corporation Location: Jacksonville, FL Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Shift: Varies (Evenings, Nights, Weekends may be required) Job Summary Giddens Security Corporation is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Security Dispatcher to join our operations team. The Security Dispatcher is responsible for monitoring security operations, coordinating officer assignments, and maintaining communication with field personnel. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities • Monitor and dispatch security officers to assigned locations, • Maintain real-time communication with officers and supervisors, • Manage schedules, call-offs, and coverage using a scheduling software system, • Document incidents, shift activity, and operational updates, • Coordinate emergency response procedures when required, • Ensure all officers check in/out and complete required reporting, • Maintain accurate records of shift activity and staffing levels, • Previous dispatch, operations center, or security experience preferred, • Strong communication and multitasking skills, • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure, • Proficiency with computers and basic office software, • High school diploma or equivalent required, • Knowledge of security patrol operations, • Strong attention to detail and documentation, • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, • Competitive pay, • Flexible scheduling, • Advancement opportunities within the company
