We are seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a preschool program in a school setting. The BCBA will conduct behavioral assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based interventions for students with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This role collaborates closely with teaching staff, related service providers, and families to promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) tailored to individual student needs., • Analyze psychological, educational, and adaptive behavior assessments to inform behavioral programming., • Design and oversee implementation of behavior support strategies and skill acquisition programs based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)., • Collaborate with teachers and classroom staff to model and support evidence-based behavior management techniques., • Attend and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, case conferences, and other team meetings to review progress and make necessary plan modifications., • Provide in-situ coaching, modeling, and training for instructional staff to ensure fidelity of behavior support plans., • Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and modify programming as needed., • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding behavioral progress and strategies for home consistency., • Provide staff development and training on behavior management, data collection, and implementation of ABA strategies., • Support classroom needs, including transitions, feeding, toileting, and crisis management, as necessary., • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with program policies, DOE regulations, and best practices., • Stay current with best practices and emerging research in behavior analysis and early childhood development., • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field., • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing., • Minimum of 5 years of experience developing and implementing behavior support plans, preferably with preschool-aged children with developmental disabilities and/or autism., • In-depth knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and methodologies., • Experience working in interdisciplinary team settings and school-based environments., • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills., • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written., • Ability to coach, train, and support educators and paraprofessionals., • Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English., • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to respond to inquiries and concerns from staff and families., • Assess situations, identify problems, develop solutions, and make sound decisions., • Interpret complex data and apply it to individualized programming., • Frequent walking, standing, and interaction with young children., • Ability to sit and use a computer for extended periods., • Capability to lift and assist children when necessary and respond quickly in crisis situations., • Primary work takes place in a preschool setting with exposure to young children with varying needs., • Occasional exposure to noise and movement typical of a classroom., • Travel between program sites may be required.
