Job Description Boiler Operator: High Pressure Boiler Systems – Provide 24/7/365 services to operate and maintain the plant utility high pressure steam boiler systems for the Manufacturing Production building, including all ancillary equipment systems in the boiler house, mechanical piping system infrastructure, and other peripheral equipment systems as noted below. High pressure boiler systems are to be operated and maintained in accordance with applicable Federal, State of New Jersey and local laws, regulations, and industry best practices. • Operation and routine maintenance of two (2) Cleaver Brooks 250HP high pressure steam boilers including all associated ancillary systems (DA tank system, condensate tank, expansion tank, heat transfer package, chemical feed and monitoring systems, pumps, filters, motors and controls, etc.). Operation and maintenance is to be performed in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations, OEM service vendors, industry best practices, and our client’s management., • Boiler operator personnel must comply with and possess corresponding in good standing, New Jersey State issued licensure for the operation of high-pressure steam boilers., • Ensure all boiler house certification requirements are maintained up to date and in compliance with New Jersey State regulations., • Perform routine checks (water quality, chemistry, exhaust, consumption, etc.).
