Job DescriptionAbout the job Itoya Topdrawer is a Japanese maker of tools you keep handy in your top drawer or bag. We also offer the best travel goods—whether you work on a plane or train. We design nearly everything ourselves in Boston and Tokyo under our own brands, Topdrawer and Kolo. What we don’t make, we curate through long-standing, exclusive partnerships with like-minded makers: * Paper Republic (Vienna) – Leather notebooks with soul * Romeo (Tokyo) – Timeless writing instruments * Original Vintage (Naples) – Handcrafted sunglasses inspired by old Hollywood These brands are available exclusively through Topdrawer, and each reflects our commitment to elegance, utility, and permanence. Alongside our internal design team, we collaborate with some of the world’s leading industrial designers to create products that are purposeful, enduring, and quietly original. We believe the best tools don’t call attention to themselves—they earn their place quietly, becoming essential not through fashion, but through use. Our Mission and Values A commitment to environmental stewardship is at the core of Topdrawer’s values. We’re not perfect, but we’re working hard to transition to more environmentally responsible materials and processes across all the products we make and sell. We believe in improving a little each day. We open shops in walkable neighborhoods with soul—never malls or shopping centers. Always near bookstores, design schools, good coffee, and galleries. Places where creative people walk. Each Topdrawer shop is designed to feel like a creative studio—part gallery, part toolshed, part library.
