Attorney - Transactional Finance - Commercial & Industrial Benefits & Compensation • Competitive salary ($150K–$220K, commensurate with experience), • Comprehensive healthcare coverage, • Paid time off, • Retirement plans, • Professional development opportunities, • Supportive, collegial work environment Attorney - Transactional Finance - Commercial & Industrial Requirements & Qualifications • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree with strong academic credentials, • Admission to the New York and/or New Jersey Bar (Florida Bar admission is a plus), • 4+ years of transactional or commercial finance experience, with a focus on C&I lending, • Strong drafting, negotiation, and organizational skills, • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, • Familiarity with UCC Article 9 secured transactions strongly preferred Attorney - Transactional Finance - Commercial & Industrial Preferred Background & Skills • Experience with Florida-specific lending statutes, • Practice background including commercial real estate or other lending, • Experience handling asset-based and cash-flow-based credit facilities Attorney - Transactional Finance - Commercial & Industrial Day-to-Day Responsibilities • Prepare, review, and negotiate a range of commercial agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, easements, and related documents, • Draft and negotiate financing documents, such as term loans, revolving credit facilities, security agreements, guarantees, and intercreditor agreements, • Manage due diligence efforts, including title, survey, lease review, and collateral verification for C&I loans, • Advise clients on transaction structuring, collateral packages, and support complex closing processes, • Serve as a primary contact for institutional lenders, regional banks, and corporate borrowers, • Support leasing matters and coordinate all aspects of C&I commercial finance closings
