Job DescriptionA day in this role You start your shift with a clear work order in hand and a kit of parts supplied by your Lead or Supervisor. You verify every component, flagging anything questionable. Then you bring industrial cutting and sawing equipment to life, from concrete and tile saws to masonry and metal solutions, and even trowel platforms. Engines, motors, switchboxes, blade shafts, guards, pumps, axles, transmissions, and cutting heads come together under your hands. How you build great machines • Pre-assemble subcomponents for assigned saws or trowels, including wiring engines, motors, and switchboxes, and assembling engine components, water pumps, blade shafts and blade guards, front and rear axles, transmissions, and cutting heads., • Use hand and pneumatic tools to complete assemblies, applying techniques such as sanding, oiling, measuring, bolting, wiring, aligning, tightening, and torqueing., • Read blueprints and follow documented procedures and written instructions to achieve consistent, high-quality builds., • Finish and touch up each unit, apply serial number decals, and paint when needed.Quality in action, • Run functional tests to verify the machine is operating properly., • Complete inspection checklists, submit paperwork, and notify your Supervisor when ready for final inspection., • Crate or box machines for shipment, add required literature and tools, and stage for pick-up., • Keep tools and your work area clean daily; report any tool repair needs promptly., • Ensure parts fit correctly, operation is smooth, and finish meets our standards, including paint touch-up when necessary., • Recommend improvements to procedures and specifications., • Follow safety best practices and raise any safety or ergonomic concerns to your Supervisor.What you bring, • 1 to 2 years of mechanical assembly experience; automotive or shop experience is helpful., • Comfort following verbal and written work instructions and reading blueprints., • Ability to stand for extended periods and handle pneumatic tools that produce vibration for short durations., • Mechanical aptitude, solid hand tool knowledge, and willingness to learn specialized processes such as basic electrical wiring., • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to follow directions.Skills you put to work, • Equipment Troubleshooting, • Electrical Schematics, • Troubleshooting Skills, • Machine Building/Assembling, • Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills, • Pneumatics Experience, • Single and Three Phase Power, • Motor Replacement/Repair/Maintenance, • Hydraulics Experience, • Pneumatics Troubleshooting, • Mechanical Assembly Skills, • Blueprint ReadingMachines and technologies you will use, • Automotive Vehicles, • Power Tools, • CAD SoftwareBenefits and rewards, • Competitive compensation, • Benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance at date of hire, • A 401(k) with matching and no vesting, • An employee purchase discount on Husqvarna products, • An education assistance program, • Paid parental leave, • Eleven (11) paid holidays Ready to build industry-leading cutting equipment and grow your career with a team that values craftsmanship and safety Apply today.
