Responsibilities & Duties: • Follows the company selling process to ensure that customers are aware of our product lines and creating a positive shopping experience, • Boosts store sales through exceptional customer service, selling, and team building skills, • Demonstrates product knowledge of our furniture, mattresses, and appliance lines, competitor’s products, current advertising, and marketing initiatives, • Achieves individual targets for all miscellaneous revenue, including Protection Agreements, fabric protection, leasing, credit, delivery, and installation, • Ensures inventory is available for customer orders, • Rings sales through the POS system, • Maintains the sales floor standards including floor recovery, housekeeping and presentation standards in the unit, • Assists with loading customer vehicles and staging items for delivery; fulfills orders systemically, • Completes all required training sessions and courses, • Serves as a key carrier, performs store opening and closing tasks, • Educational: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred, • Sales experience is preferred, but not necessary, • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, • Ability to excel in a competitive, fast-paced environment, • Must have a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction, • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. Job Description SUMMARY: The primary purpose of the Bid Coordinator is to manage bids for the specific region and communicate pricing and general product information to manufacturer bid contacts. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons. · Establish and maintain relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and broker sales representatives. · Partner with sales team to generate and develop new business by communicating bid information to manufacturers and sales team, including samples and awarded items. · Enters bid into bid program; pricing once received, award information, add products as needed throughout bid term. · Review competitive bid data in order to negotiate pricing with manufacturers for new bids. · Maintain current knowledge of trends, specs, and legislative action relating to food service. · Performs other duties as assigned by manager. QUALIFICATIONS: · Associate's Degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. · Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from manufacturer clients and distributors. · Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent. · Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. · Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. · Proficient with contact management systems, database software, and internet software. · Proven leadership and business acumen skills. · Well-developed negotiation, project and account management skills. · Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions. · Creative, flexible, and innovative team player. · Commitment to excellence and high standards. · Ability to work with all levels of management. · Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines · Strong interpersonal skills. · Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
