Job DescriptionDescription: The Sales Representative is responsible for generating sales of roofing products and services to residential and commercial clients. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, meeting with potential customers, conducting site evaluations, and providing accurate quotes for roofing projects. The representative will work closely with both the operations and production teams to ensure customer satisfaction and the smooth execution of roofing projects. Requirements: Lead Generation and Prospecting: • Identify and research potential clients in the local and surrounding areas., • Develop and maintain a consistent pipeline of leads and sales opportunities., • Meet with prospective clients to discuss their roofing needs, both for residential and commercial properties., • Conduct site visits to assess roof condition, determine the scope of work, and identify any additional services required., • Prepare and deliver detailed roofing proposals and quotes, including cost breakdowns, project timelines, and materials., • Present and explain various roofing solutions, products, and warranties to clients in an easy-to-understand manner., • Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with clients to close sales., • Follow up with leads and clients to ensure timely closure of sales., • Maintain regular communication with clients during the sales process and after installation., • Address and resolve any post-sale issues, complaints, or inquiries promptly., • Work closely with the project management and operations teams to ensure smooth handover of projects from sales to installation., • Track and report on sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status., • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quotes, proposals, contracts, and client communications., • Stay up to date with roofing industry trends, product innovations, and competitors. Education: • High school diploma or equivalent required., • A college degree in business, construction management, or a related field is a plus. (preferred)., • At least 2 years of experience in the roofing industry., • Proven experience managing large-scale roofing projects, production teams, and multiple job sites., • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills., • Strong work ethic and motivation to meet and exceed sales targets., • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines., • In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices in roofing production., • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders to achieve company, • Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities., • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively, • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, Salesforce and general computer skills., • Ability to visit job sites, occasionally requiring walking, standing, or climbing to inspect roofing work or oversee operations., • Occasional travel may be required for site visits, client meetings, or industry events., • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation., • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary
