As a Group Sales Specialist, you will play a key role in driving attendance and revenue by securing and managing group events at the park. This high-energy, guest-focused role is responsible for building relationships with corporate clients, schools, youth organizations, and community groups, creating memorable experiences through customized packages and seamless event coordination. You'll serve as both a sales professional and brand ambassador, ensuring every group visit delivers exceptional value and excitement. Key Responsibilities: • Fuel the Fun-Drive Group & Event Sales Proactively identify, prospect, and secure bookings across corporate clients, schools, youth organizations, sports teams, and large group outings-keeping the park full of energy and excitement., • Create Unforgettable Group Experiences Design and sell customized packages that combine park admission with catered meals, reserved seating, private spaces, and exclusive perks tailored to each group's goals and budget., • Own the Client Experience from Start to Finish Serve as the primary contact for clients, guiding them from initial inquiry through event execution-delivering seamless, high-touch service every step of the way., • Win Big with Corporate Events & Park Buyouts Lead the sales process for corporate outings, team-building events, and full or partial park buyouts, crafting memorable large-scale experiences that stand out., • Deliver High-Impact Presentations Engage decision-makers through dynamic presentations (in-person and virtual), showcasing the park's attractions, event capabilities, and value-driven group offerings., • Collaborate to Execute Flawless Events Partner with internal teams-including food & beverage, operations, and guest services-to coordinate logistics and ensure every group visit runs smoothly., • Drive Revenue Through Strategic Selling Meet and exceed sales targets by building a strong pipeline, closing new business, and upselling enhancements such as catering packages, VIP seating, and premium experiences., • Stay Organized Behind the Scenes Maintain accurate records of leads, contracts, bookings, and communications in CRM systems, ensuring timely follow-ups, billing, and documentation., • Promote What's New & Exciting Stay current on seasonal events, new attractions, and promotions to position the park as a must-visit destination for groups and corporate clients., • Be Present When It Matters Most Provide on-site or on-call support during key events to ensure client satisfaction and quickly resolve any issues., • Turn Great Events into Repeat Business Build lasting relationships by gathering feedback, delivering exceptional experiences, and securing future bookings year after year. Compensation: $62,400 plus commission structure Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience), • 3-5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in hospitality, entertainment, tourism, or event sales, • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals, • Experience in corporate sales, group sales, or event planning, including buyouts, meetings, and catered events, • Strong prospecting and business development skills, with the ability to generate new leads and build a robust sales pipeline, • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers, • Strong relationship-building skills and a customer-first mindset focused on delivering exceptional client experiences, • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts, timelines, and event details simultaneously, • Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite, • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with operations, catering, and marketing teams to execute successful events, • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment, • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for client events and park operations Performance Metrics • Revenue Generation
