Immediate opening for a Dealer Service Representative in Seattle, WA who possesses: • 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a B2B, dealer support, wholesale, distribution, or technical product support environment, • Experience in the marine industry, power generation, generators, diesel engines, boating, or a related field highly preferred, • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred FULL DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a Dealer Service Representative to serve as the primary point of contact for an authorized dealer network in a marine power systems environment. This permanent role is responsible for supporting dealers with order status, parts identification, inventory availability, lead times, technical product questions, dealer portal activity, and coordination with internal parts, service, shipping, production, sales, and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have strong B2B customer service experience, excellent communication skills, the ability to navigate parts manuals and order systems, and experience with marine, generator, diesel engine, boating, power generation, or related technical products. The selected candidate will be responsible for: • Serving as the main liaison between the company and authorized marine dealers, • Responding promptly to dealer inquiries by phone, email, and dealer portal systems, • Providing exceptional support to dealers who sell, install, and service marine generator sets and related power systems, • Helping dealers resolve issues efficiently and maintain smooth order and service operations, • Supporting strong, long-term dealer relationships through clear communication and timely follow-up, • Providing technical and operational support on marine generator and propulsion engine products, • Assisting with troubleshooting guidance, parts identification, and installation or service recommendations, • Escalating complex technical issues to engineering, field service, or internal technical teams as needed, • Processing and tracking dealer orders for parts, accessories, warranty components, and service literature, • Checking open orders, order status, inventory availability, lead times, holds, partial shipments, and delivery expectations, • Coordinating with internal parts, service, engineering, shipping, production, and sales teams to support timely fulfillment, • Communicating status updates to dealers and internal teams, • Using parts manuals, order systems, and internal databases to help identify needed parts, • Supporting a high-mix, low-volume order environment with a large number of parts and SKUs, • Helping prioritize orders and coordinate part availability based on business needs and timelines, • Assisting dealers with product knowledge, training resources, marketing materials, promotional programs, and dealer stocking needs, • Monitoring dealer performance, order activity, and customer satisfaction feedback, • Proactively following up with dealers to address concerns or identify opportunities for improvement, • Documenting customer and dealer interactions accurately in internal systems, • Maintaining accurate records and supporting continuous improvement of dealer support processes, • Staying current on product updates, industry trends, new models, competitor offerings, and relevant marine power system information, • Collaborating with parts, sales, service, and engineering teams to relay dealer feedback, • Supporting product and service improvements based on dealer and customer input, • Performing other duties as assigned The selected candidate will also possess: • High school diploma or equivalent required, • Associate's or bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred, • 2+ years of customer service experience required, • B2B customer service experience preferred, • Dealer support, wholesale, distribution, or technical product support experience preferred, • Experience in the marine industry, power generation, generators, diesel engines, boating, or related fields highly preferred, • Experience supporting dealers, distributors, or business customers preferred, • Experience with marine generator or propulsion products preferred, • Experience with parts identification, order tracking, inventory availability, lead times, or service parts preferred, • Ability to navigate parts manuals, product documentation, databases, and order information, • Strong understanding of customer and dealer relationship management, • Ability to build rapport with business professionals, • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, • Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical dealer staff, • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required, • CRM, ERP, order management software, dealer portal, or warranty portal experience preferred, • Detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skills, • Strong organizational skills, • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, • Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments, • Familiarity with marine generator and propulsion brands, models, or common service issues preferred, • Knowledge of marine regulations, ABYC standards, or boating applications preferred, • Previous experience supporting dealers or distributors in equipment or power systems industries preferred, • Ability to work onsite in Seattle, WA, • Ability to work a schedule of 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, • Ability to support a full-time, permanent opportunity Physical Requirements: • Ability to communicate by phone, email, and in person throughout the workday, • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods while reviewing orders, dealer requests, parts manuals, inventory information, emails, and system records, • Ability to review detailed product documentation, service information, order records, parts data, dealer communications, and computer screens for extended periods, • Ability to use hands and fingers for typing, data entry, documentation, order processing, filing, scanning, and standard office tasks, • Ability to regularly talk and hear in order to communicate with dealers, internal teams, and business partners, • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb as needed in office, parts, warehouse, or service support environments, • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed, • Ability to stand for extended periods in a warehouse setting as needed, • Ability to use close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, • Ability to work in an office, parts, and warehouse support environment while following applicable
